Why? Some of the best light occurs right before and after dawn! The sun just had come up above the trees here. And yes, the shutter speed is correct in the EXIF! This was shot with the beast on a tripod and my gimbal head

You can see a little bit of movement in the grass but this elk cow yearling didn't move.
