Hello from Idaho

Hi everybody, I started learning photography a few years ago as part of a fine arts degree and found that it was really the only part of the degree I was interested in, so I spent my tuition money on a good camera(D300) and have been learning since then. I am a graphic designer so I am finding that a lot of the tools I use for work transition well to photography.

Hi, nice camera! What lenses do you have?

For now just the 50mm 1.8 and the 18 - 135 that came in my kit. I was renting glass from a place here in town but they just went out of business a couple of weeks ago so it looks like I will have to start saving up to buy more.

Glad you are here at Nikonites, looking forward to seeing some of your pics. Great camera btw, I am very partial to my D300. The need for glass never ends, I am restrained by available funds only...
