Hello from Eastern NC

New here, but not to forums in general. Kinda new to digital photography. Had lots of courses during film days (early 1970s) at school. Miss the darkroom work, but Photoshop is interesting. Too bad it can't put out the darkroom smell.

Had an F2 back in the day, with three lenses. After school, I sold it all. Got in a tight for money. Haven't had a decent camera since then, until this past November, when I got my D7k. I'm enjoying learning all over again.

I really don't miss the smell. i managed over 100 One hour labs and we mixed chemicals in 25 gallon batches. Nasty bit of business back then.

The chemical smell never bothered me. I LOVE cabbage soup. After about an hour, I looked forward to being in the darkroom!
