Hi all. This is my first post here. Thought I'd say hello with some pics I just took at the 2016 Atlantic City Air Show featuring the Thunderbirds.

Tried out my D500 (w/70-200VRI hand-held) for the first time there and had a ball standing on the shoreline clicking away... and 10fps sure does go fast. :unconscious:

I'm just an amateur, but the camera performed flawlessly. Only three of the over 700 pics I took were slightly out of focus and all of them were my fault.

Set it to 5.6 and adjusted the shutter as needed and used auto-ISO for fine tuning exposure.

Weather was perfect, if a bit hot. A few seagulls got into the show, but they weren't on the schedule. :cool:

WElcome to the forum. IT really works better if you post your photos here so we don't have to go off site.

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72ppi (Pixels Per Inch)

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.
