Nikon Newbee help

Hi Folks,

Loving my D500 & 200-500 coming from a long time with Canon. Not really knowing the Nikon Lenses which would be a good wide zoom lens to get for my first choice? been reading comparing etc. Price cap $700.00 for this one.

I went with a Sigma 10-20 f3.5 for a wide angle lens on my D7200. I really like the lens and it works well for me. But there are a lot of opinions here... you will get a litany of suggestions. I will say I also have the 200-500 and I love that lens more every time I use it.

I have the Tokina 11-16 that I use on my D7100 and have always been happy with it. At under $400 it is steal.

How wide you talking? You could get a 17-55 f/2.8 used for 700.
