Nikon Coolpix P3300 - How to overide green focusing squares?

Hi,
Is there any way to overide the green focusing squares on this camera?
All I want is for the camera to focus at the centre of the viewfinder.

The P3300 has five different Auto-focus modes, one of which is "Center" and uses only the center-most focus point.

These settings are in the Shooting Menu under AF Area Mode.
