Nikon Camera Control Pro 2

Has anyone else encountered the problem that Nikon Camera Control Pro 2 simply stops working and has to be restarted at regular intervals.

A real pain when shooting tethered at busy proms and balls.

I'm on version 2.22.

Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

I haven't used Camera Control Pro, but do have similar issues when shooting tethered into Lightroom. Not sure if it's a robustness issue with the USB connection between the camera and computer, or something purely software related.

My View NX-i quit working yesterday. I simply deleted the program and re-installed it from the Nikon site. Easier than trouble shooting.

May want to see if your virus software has a block set for the program and shuts down when it runs the scan.

What system are you running on PC or Mac?

I have version 2.23 on my mac and it works OK except you can't use it beyond 1260 pixwide, but it doesn't hang.
