Manual setting for D7200

Hi Nikonites,
i have problems in getting my manual setting correct.. It seem that each time i set d aperture, shutter speed and iso in manual mode but it will automatically switch to other setting... As such that i have to set it all over again.. I'm confused.

I seen my friend using Canon ..once he set d setting ..it stays ...

please help as I'm new to DSLR.. and too many auto setting

What aperture are you setting? If you have a variable aperture lens like the 18-140 and you are setting for f3.5, it will change to f5.6 as you zoom even in manual. It does this because the lens cannot do f3.5 at full zoom. At higher apertures it should certainly stay at your setting in manual. Auto iso will change in manual, that might be a good thing if you want that, otherwise turn it off to keep iso manual.
