Soon I am planing to take a trip to Mount Kailash with my D810+18-300 Nikon lens. Can some one suggest me a proper camera setting to shoot stills under moon light? I also have a 18-55 std. lens. Thanks.

Hi Sivakumar, this may sound useless, but the best thing is to experiment as the light condition varies from time to time even at the same location. good thing we have digital, not film cameras. so you can try without extra cost. the things I would suggest to try.
1. for real moon. go the 300mm, manual mode and use 125/250 or faster shutter to get the full details.
2. for long exposure, set the aperture to very small, like f16/f22 etc(use ND if you have one). this would have interesting effects
3. anything in between.
