800 value?

Is $1200 for a D800 with 48,000 clicks a good deal. Looks in great condition (but have not seen it in person).

If it is in great shape the I would say yes, a very good deal, though a D800E would be better!lol
But be prepared to spend some on glass if you do get one of these high MPs monsters! I absolutely love my D800E and wouldn't trade it for a brand new D750, but the better the glass the more you will get out of it my friend! Good luck no matter what you choose buddy!

I have a D800 and it is a great camera, but for an extra $200, I'd get the grey market D750. True, it has less MP, but is updated in every other way. (MP is over-rated anyway, in my opinion.)
