D7200 and Sigma 17-70mm F2.8 Contemporary

This is my Hello D7200 Group email!

About a month ago I bought a D7200 and the Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC Macro OS HSM Contemporary Lens. I got it from Digital Goja on Amazon.

Am extremely pleased with this combination! Been very impressed with the fast F2.8 low light shots. While the 17 to 70mm zoom length has met all my walk-around lens needs so far!

Fantastic combination, i have a 17-70 C for my D7100. Excellent little lens.

Welcome! I've seen so many great shoots with this lens. How close can the macro get?

Hiya, sorry for late reply.
It just an average Macro lens. Sigma put Macro on there for marketing I suspect?
Lens says 1:2.8 at 70mm. Min focus distance .72 feet.

Now here is one at 70mm with a 20mm XIT extender tube.
AutoFocus works; I am a few centimeters away here:
