Post your levitation/floating shots

Having seen a few fruit levitation pictures, I was impressed, and set out to work out how it was done.

This my 1st attempt at doing this, so how about a new topic, lets give it a go and see how creative we can be.

Paul, that's a very good start. When I saw the title of the thread, I thought of people floating. It never crossed my mind that fruit would fly. Ha! Nice

Weird topic! I like it (but that first pic is making me a little uneasy for some reason...)

Care to share how you made them? Did you put them on a stiff wire and photoshop that out?

Photoshop really helps with this, also good natural lighting, or a good flash setup makes editing a lot easier, as you don't, really want shadows (makes editing a lot harder)

The possibility are endless on what you can do.

Toothpicks, typically, are the go-to mechanism for this during shooting; then the Clone Tool, Healing Brush, etc. in Photoshop is used to remove them.

This was my attempt. I originally just had the bananas on there own but felt like it need something else. Decided to add this waiter (bottle open holder) to complete the image
