What a wonderful place! I recommend the Palmer Park overlook if you haven't been there for the dusk to night transition.
When we lived there, Pikes Peak was my first sight whenever I drove out of my driveway. Of the places I've lived, COS is the one I wish to go back to the most.

One of my favorite areas in the country. Manitou Springs is at the top of the list of places we want to retire to.
