Zeiss Otus 1.4/28 lens announced

I'd love to have one but it's a bit too expensive purely for a hobby. I might add a Milvus in time; I'd like to have some spiffy landscape lens that's a bit wider than my 24mm.

It is a big beast lol. Longer than AF-S 24-70/2.8 and weighs 50 % more. Or in other words 3/4 of the length of 70-200/2.8 VR and almost the same weight. The front element is the same size as the one in AF-S 200-500/5.6.

My oldskool Nikkor AF 28/1.4D looks like a toy compared to the new Otus. :)
