Removing Sun Flares

My wife shot an entire mornings shoot in Dead Horse Point into the sun and has flares in almost every one of them. I have had a couple and generally I catch it and shoot the next shot to correct it. She did not. She is just now getting around to telling me about the shots and I can correct them to a certain extent but it is time consuming since I really have not had to do it very much. Is there a magic bullet for removing lens flares? I Lightroom plugin maybe? I really don't want to take the time to process all her shots to remove them.

Anyone have any suggestions?

pretty mush what I thought and found in researching the issue. But you never know now what is available.

Is there a filter on the lens 'for protection'?

No filters on that lens that day. I did get her a CPL the next day though.

I think Lightroom has the enhanced spot removal tool...that may help

It's manual labor indeed. I clone over them and then heal that area.

I use spot removal in the raw editor - does well.

Or I clone them out.

I did it in Photoshop, open both layers in same tab. then create a mask on the finger one and erase the finger and bits around it to suit.

I know how to prevent them in the first place. All of mine from that day/place are ok. It was my wife's photos that were really bad. I ended up repairing many of them but it is time consuming and not something I wanted to deal with. I was hoping there was some tech out there that might be the magic bullet
