Gettysburg

Here's a few shot's from my recent vacation. These shots are all taken from Cemetary Ridge facing the battlefield, using my 16-85. Will post a bunch to my gallery soon.

Being a retired artillery Officer, I like the shots of the guns. I have always enjoyed visiting the War sites. I recently visited the Mansfield battle museum and grounds. The Red River campaign.
I have to be careful who I confess this to, but I can hear the sounds of the muskets and cannon.
I had a family member killed at the Battle of Mansfield. The men who were with him said they buried him on the battlefield, but could not identify the exact point.
