Auto Focus Problem

I see that when I do not use the camera for a while and I want to make a photo the autofocus does not work, the lens keeps making a little noises but does not focus. The workaround I found was to take out the lens and put it again, then it works with no problem. But this issue is annoying, to take out and put the lens again. Any suggestions of what may be happening?

Try cleaning the lens and body contacts with as pure and isopropyl alcohol as you can find. Avoid rubbing alcohol.
