Hi,Kevy.I didn't use a flash.I put the ap on f16 and pointed at the shutter.Push the camera shutter and waited to a count of 5 and moved the camera just a bit.I got to try this with maybe a moving train at night.lol

Nice work. I do similar with rear sync flash at wedding receptions for kicks and giggles... just to see what cool patterns I can get whilst freezing the people dancing as much as possible...

Typical settings for that are:

Rear Sync Flash, Shutter 1/4, ISO 400, Aperture f4

Push the shutter than move the camera, the flash will fire at the end of the 1/4 second freezing the subjects, and anything bright will have made some cool shapes and patterns...

Next time I am going to try for a love heart shape pattern... :)

It's good fun - it can take a bit pf practice... if the people aren't being frozen well enough, up the power on your flash... I meant to add, I usually have my flash on manual at 1/4 power for those types of shots...
