Does anyone use the Hoya CPL Polarizing Filters? Are they any good as i've just got a standard UV filter, and any other good filters out there worth having? Depending on what you are taking i suppose, don't know? i.e Sunsets, Landscapes.

I bought the HD multi-coated version for my Tamron 24-70 but haven't had a chance to test it yet. Hoping that it was a worthwhile purchase. This will be the first non B+W I've used, but I didn't want to splash out the $200 for the 82mm this time, so I settled on the Hoya. Once it gets some trigger time I will definitely report back.

I think all my filters save for maybe 2-3 are Hoya. Most are HD2, but not all. I also have a Nikon CPL. The Hoya filters have been great for me.

I have several Hoya HD CPL's. Better light transmission, harder glass, easier to clean what's not to like about them?

I wouldn't own any other.
