Antigua or Turks and Caicos for birds

Parents might be taking me and the wife on a trip which is better for birds and safe to walk around with the camera?? Pro's and Con's of both Appreciated

I have been to Antigua and Grand Turk Island when I was in the Army. Not much time off for me but very nice. Not much help but it brought back memories for me. Rum punch and Conch fritters...

I've got no idea; I've never been to either place.

If your parents wish to send me to check each place out so that I can make an informed recommendation, I can clear my schedule... :cool:

We were at St Johns this year, and were part of a tour group, a boat over from St Kitts, then a truck to travel us around... so didn't see so much of the crowd, but it all seemed very fine to us.

If concerned about safety, there are several online sites with travel warnings (for about any place)... Don't ever know if overblown or not. Possibly worse if you look up Detroit or Los Angles? :) We never see nuthin'.
