Got my D800 converted for IR and was hoping that either my Sigma or 24-85mm would serve as walkaround lenses for it, but they both produce some significant hot spots. (FYI, hot spots are caused by internal coatings on lenses designed for digital cameras that filter out IR light - these are never visible with normal light).
Looking to trade my "as new" Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 for a Nikkor 24-120mm f4G in similar condition. I've got one, but it lives on my D750 and I often carry both a regular and IR camera and do not want to spend all my time swapping.
I can put pics up here if that's required in this section. With box and all paperwork.
