Display nog working D5300

He! I've been using the D5300 for a few months now, and today the display suddenly stoped working. It's just black/turned off. I can't see tge manual/settings and I can't use live view..
Is there a way to turn the screen on/off?maybe I did it by accident.

If the camera is on and the battery charged, the menu or playback buttons should turn the screen on. If not, it is probably in need of repair. I remember there being a method to do a hard reset of the firmware settings on some bodies, but don't remember the sequence. Might be worth a try in your case; hopefully someone else can chime in with the procedure.
