Baby Shoots suck

So did my first baby shoot, had all wonderful idea's of poses - most are based on the baby being asleep - enter first problem..... Baby was pretty much awake all shoot. Oh well, the lighting was ok and I am sure the folks will be happy with their shots, but it just wasn't what I had pictured at all.

I like 3, 6, 7, 8.

A thought, baby skin can look so beautiful once it fills in and evens out, or early on can be so mottled. Have you thought about doing a bit of frequency separation on the babies skin to even out the mottling? Unless they like the look because it does add fragility to the baby. Just a thought and not a criticism.
