Lightning trigger

I have a Nikon D40 and I have been looking for a lightning/movement trigger, but I haven't found any so far that are compatible with my camera does anyone have any suggestions?

Lightning triggers all pretty much use the wired Remote channel to fire the camera... Unfortunately, the D40 didn't have that option...
