Trouble shooting vide with my nikon d800

Hi everyone , please help .

I started shooting video with my NIKON D800 and I am experiencing some troubles . When I view the movie in camera everything looks ok but then when I transfer to my Mac the vide is all choppy / jerky ... like it has not captured all the frames .... I started using Adobe Premier for editing and it looks like I can not see every single frame....

I have tried shooting on a CF memory card Lexar 800x and on an SD card .... on both I had the same result ... (initially I thought it might be the memory card .... )


PLEASE HELP , I pretty much ruined a clients film ((((

Sounds like it is a codec issue, try watching it with VLC player this should play it back nicely.

what gpu on your pc? also are u playing it from an SSD?

what shutter speed were you using? did you shoot on auto? 24p/25p?

As Scott said, might very well be a video player issue on your computer. Try another one like VLC or KMplayer.
