Keeping it new

Just have my D7100 a few weeks now and the right hand grip is starting to show signs of wear, its where the fingertips touch the grip, does anyone else's camera show these signs, never happened to any of my other Nikon cameras?

Had my D7100 for 6 months now, no marks on it.

Still looks like new.

I've had my D7100 for about 2 years now and no signs of wear anywhere. But, I take really good care of my camera equipment. It doesn't get abused in any way.

Define "signs of wear" please.

Sounds to me like that you are so happy to have it that you are gripping it too tightly. It is a common syndrome of New Nikon camera owners. just ease up on the grip and it will be alright.
