Saw this on NikonRumors today...
Phottix: the Nikon D750 hot shoe has different dimensions than previous camera models | Nikon Rumors
...and it has me very curious about the compatibility of the D750 with other triggers. Not to mention that it also has me curious as to why they changed the dimensions (does anyone know if they are the same as the D810 - it would explain why these two cameras started shipping w/o the cover). I don't do a lot of flash work, but when I do I use Vello and Yongnuo triggers. I might need to do some tests today. I am bothered by the comment in the article that some Nikon SB units don't seem to work with the D750 as well. Obviously this can't be a widespread problem as I'm reading about wedding photographers switching to the D750 all the time and if triggers weren't working then there'd be an uproar. But it has me curious as to why Nikon would change it.
Any D750 owners experience anything like this?
