Nikon 1 V1 and Astronomy

Hi all new to the forum and making a quick introduction. I own a Nikon 1 V1 and would like to attach my camera to the new telescope that I have recently purchased. I have bought the relevant T thread adapters and hope to test out the equipment at an appropriate time. I was just wondering if any other members have tested out a V1 in this way, if so could they share with me settings and set ups etc. Any help appreciated. Many thanks in advance. I don't know much about the Nikon 1, but I'm sure there are several guys here who can.

I have a V1 and used it with the FT1 adapter and my telephoto lens for moonshots it works great, but I don't have a telescope so haven't tried it on one. On thing to remember is make sure you cover the viewfinder to prevent light leaks when doing long exposures. Looking forward to seeing your shots.
