3rd picture is by far the best. Like Sbnewsom said, fill-in flash is your friend. Also, make sure the subject is in focus, the baby looks a bit blurry in the first image. Best way to fix that is to set the focus on the subject's eye. You'll get better as you keep on learning, which is part the fun of photography.
