Heron ID Please

I took this photo 2 years ago and I forgot to get a actually ID of this, I am assuming it is a Blue Heron of some sort but not exactly sure. If you could please assist I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you guys, I was on the right path just wasn't sure if i was missing something, you never know.

On the face of it , it does look a lot like an immature Great blue, but the legs appear inordinately short though.
bad posture I guess.
