Why are pictures black and white?

Today when I take photos in the manual setting do my shots come out B & W? If i set the camera to Auto or portrait they come out as colour?

I took some photos in Manual an hour ago and they were ok?

Why is this happening all of a sudden?

All modes M.A.S.P are in B & W?

* If i go into LV it shoots in B & W and the screen is B & W....what have I done??????

I would hazard a guess and say that the mono mode was selected in camera.

No it was not that and being the div that I am and in such a hurry to get it working I forgot to make a mental note of what it was, I will try and re trace my steps again in the morning.
