Canon seems to be making a lot of noise lately about their intentions of becoming more serious about mirrorless cameras. Looking at the Japanese market, you can see that Sony and Olympus are the major players in the mirrorless segment. Fuji, for now, is still a niche product. So, how can Canon achieve this? I can only imagine that they are going to develop a mirrorless camera that will look very similar to their DSLRs - the EOS M just is not going to cut it. If Canon achieves their goal, i feel that there will me a merger between two well known companies in order to compete against Canon.
