I intentionally took both of these almost to "chalk and charcoal" to further strengthen the abstractness of the image. It also emphasizes the cold (though the temperature was about 20º, not all that cold if you are dressed for it). I wish I had had the Hasselblad with me, a mistake I won't make again. It all comes with me to NE in a few weeks. And with it, you don't have to worry about batteries crapping out on you at the wrong moment! I just have to keep the batteries in my two hand held meters reasonably warm.
