D7000 in the Wild

I had to meet up with our local newspaper photographer yesterday while at work. Imagine my surprise to see him pull out his D7000! I only had a minute to ask him how he likes it as he only had a few minutes. He said it wasn't perfect, but he had it 3 years and loved it. He used it for short video clips, pics, and as a voice recorder.

I thought it was pretty cool to see a "pro" (at least in my mind) using a D7000 out in the "wild."

D7000 is awesome, everything I've learnt with mine for the past almost 4 years (190k + actuations without any problem) ... I love the fact that I can by 'cheap' D lenses which was THE stuff a few years ago and you can still get magic from them, which you can't do with the D3000 & D5000 models.
With that said, I just got a D750, just wow, but my D7000 with the 17-55 will still be my second on busy shoots.
