a quick hello

Hi everyone just wanted to say hello. just purchased a D3200 and looking to progress my photography. Keen to get out of point and shoot and into a more creative expressive style. So any hints tips etc would be massively appreciated. I have been hovering around the forum for a while now having a read and everyone seams a friendly bunch so bought the camera signed up to the site let the journey begin.

My biggest tip would be learn to get out of auto. Welcome along

stick it in auto, remember the settings and then switch to M mode, apply the settings and go from there.

Also read the exif data on pictures others have taken that you may want to try.
