Nikon D5300 - Display turns off within 30 - 45 seconds

Hi,

I recently got a brand new D5300, so far, everything looks (I am really a newbie!!), but for some reason the display turns-off within 30 to 45 seconds, either it be while viewing the already taken pictures or while taking a new picture. I searched for settings to change it but failed to find one. Please help.

Press the Menu button.
Open the "Custom Settings" menu.
Find the "Auto off timers" menu.
Click right one time and adjust the settings as you wish.
You might want to go into "Custom" here for more control.
