I shoot mostly macro, so was looking forward to this lens. Unfortunately, like some of the other reviewers, I also had issues focusing and the pictures are not as sharp as it should be. Also had the lens opened to 2.8 aperture only 1% of the time. Had the same issue with 2nd lens, it was returned.

You might want to give consideration to the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro instead, though it's a Full Frame lens.
