But here is a Springerville AZ moon with the D700, 600mm f/4 ED-IF AIS and TC-300. The moonlight rule of thumb, 1/ASA @ f/11 works like a champ every time!

The forum title is "landscape" Doesn't say anything about it having to be from Earth. I bet if you stuck that 600mm with the TC on an M43 cam, you could probably do a Martian landscape.:D

BTW. Nice clean shot!
One of the things I see with Moon shots a lot, is that people seem to over sharpen them. Yours looks nice and natural.

I only used a little bit of unsharp mask after I reduced it to 1000 px to overcome some of that little bit of detail that will be lost during resampling by PS. That combo is so sharp together that sharpening is not needed!
