So I generally like the 18-300 f/5.6 lens, it produces good results at the telephoto range, and very good results in the 18-150 range.
Close focus (under 2 meters or so) is fine up until around 150mm, when it starts to back focus significantly. When shooting grasshoppers the other day at 300mm, they were all back focused by 5mm or so. Focus is spot on at all other distances and focal lengths. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this issue.
