Neckstrap lugs

My neckstrap is still in it's bag & I don't intend to use it. I currently use a Blackrapid wrist strap.

Do other owners remove the strap lugs on the camera or just leave them flapping about?

I've removed the triangle split rings... and use Gordy straps on all my cameras...

I'm tempted to remove them as like you, I use Black Rapid, so don't need them.

The little black plastic piece just snaps off... and they're just triangular split rings... save them.... if you need them in the future, and/or sell the camera, you can put them back on...

I remove both little black plastic pieces and the split-ring from the side I don't use with my Black Rapid wrist strap.

Unnecessary jingly-bits annoy me.

Yes.... they're not much. They just sort of snap on to the split rings

Thanks, I think mine are also coming off. I don't use them either

I couldn't get them off without risking scratching something.

I leave mine flapping.
Never knew the black insert just popped out, wondered how those rings come off lol
