Just thought I would say hi from Nebraska. I just recently purchased my first DSLR (D3300) and I am in love with it. I can't wait to learn more about how to use it. I have always been passionate about photography but often frustrated by what I could do with a point and shoot camera. The big push for me to go ahead and purchase a DSLR now was because my son is a senior in high school and very involved in sports. Obviously, my experience taking sports photos with my point and shoot was not good. I want to get some great shots for him to remember this special year. I also love taking pictures of flowers and birds. I hope to learn a lot from all the experienced photographers here.
