Hey my friend, I have a little side question for ya.
Why do are you wanting the D version? I ask because I have the non-vr g version, and I'm not totally thrilled with it. Is there something about the D lens that you like better? Or is it just a cost thing? I tend to like D lenses too, but I've never tried a 70-300mm d lens.
Besides that I'm low income and I like the cheap price the D version is going for right now. lol

but, I may have to try KEH or B&H.... down the road...
