Been shooting Nikon cameras for a little over 4 years now and stumbled over this forum. Current shooting with a D700 and some mid-level lens.

My jobs gives me the opportunity to shoot some awesome things including action sports and some air shows. I'm self taught(more trial and error) but always looking to learn more!

Welcome to Nikonites. The D700 is one model that still impresses me after all these years, even if it's "old technology", it can produce stunning results and has been one of the trouble free Nikons in the late years.
