Nikon D3200 Focus mode question

Hi,
I have a Nikon D3200 with 18-55mm VR Lens. In the focus mode settings, I would have expected to see AF-S, AF-A, AF-C & MF option; however, I just see AF-A & MF. Any pointers on why the other 2 focus modes (AF-S & AF-C) do not show up on the settings? Thanks.

D3200 manual page 35 "Note AF-S and AF-C are available only in modes P, S, A, M.".

I'm not sure it is same as shipped with the camera?
