First outing with the D7100 and the Tamzooka

It was a bust.

Absolutely ZERO birds. Not even evidence of 'em. Probably because they're stuffed with locusts at the moment (the sound was deafening!)

The bison ran away no matter what I did.

Only the elk cooperated, and they were all bunched together in the water cooling off.

While I can't claim the combo can pick a flea off at 1,000 yards, it certainly can record a fly at 200 feet!

I have had the money saved to buy this lens twice now, but it has taken so long I have spent it twice on other stuff .
By the time it is available in Aus, I should have it saved up again I hope .

I thought I had found one today on the Gold Coast....but damn!! Canon mount
