Viewfinder Question

Is there any way to extend the time so that the viewfinder controls can stay on longer? It frustrates me that when I'm looking in the viewfinder I have to push the release button halfway down every 8 seconds or so when it switches off...Thanks!

Option C2 - Standby timer should do it. It's in the manual.

Note that this has a hit on battery life.
