Barrancas National Cemetery

I have wanted to do this shot for a long time. It is a 360º panorama taken in the Barrancas National Cemetery here in town. It is quite old. It predates the Naval Air Station, on whose property it now resides. Some graves go back to the Civil War.

This image is a compilation of 16 images stitched together by Photoshop. I have a panorama bracket that is designed to be used with a 28mm lens (or the DX equivalent). It has a spirit level in the center. If the bubble is centered perfectly with each shot, there will be very little image lost due to "scalloping". I did not have to crop the image hardly at all. I chose to convert most of the image to grayscale and only leave the flowers and flag in color to emphasize the solemnity of the scene.

This a highly resized version of the image. The original is almost 17,000 pixels wide (55 inches)
