Nothing earthshattering right now, just some SOOC from when I was at store picking it up.








And a few while sitting at red lights. Again, SOOC, only resized for posting.








ETA: Just realized the last 3 were with VR turned OFF!

There may be some motion blur due to the wind since I took these at ISO 100 to eliminate any noise.


But, dang is it SEXY!

ProMaster. I forget the model number. But it works as designed and desired.

No kidding! That lens makes the camera look like a point and shoot.

Curious to see some really long distance shooting. I have the 200-500mm and it's really soft beyond 400mm. I have a love hate with Tamron. My 90mm is one of my favorites and my 500mm is my least for polar opposite reasons. Sharp and super soft.

Holy cow that's a big 'un...my Siggy 150-500 is also gigantor...Looking forward to more shots with this one...I (obviously) couldn't wait for this one so I got the Sigma - but I'm ok w/o the extra reach..more pics tho plz!

I really am interested in this lens! If you get a chance to post more pics and your thoughts about the lens after you've had it a while, I know we'd all appreciate it.

I just billed my once-a-year photo shot for the local garden tour and, oddly enough, it came to exactly the price of this lens from B&H ---- hmmm. . . .
