Sigma 300 2.8 Prime

I'm thinking of saving up for this lens with a 1.4 or 2 tele for birds I'll be getting the D7100 next month and I think it will be a great lens for that camera. Anyone have opinions on it?

I haven't used it but Sigma usually make a pretty good lens....Check out some of the reviews online...

I have used the Sigma 120-300mm F2.8 and found it to be very good...
