Hello, an ancient hobbyist with occasional sales I am an Englishman living on the island of Malta. I started photography in the days when you blacked out the kitchen to develop a film. Now retired I oscillate between my hobbies of cameras, bluegrass mandolin, computers, cars and I cant get motorcycles out of my mind, it can be a busy day when retired. Latest camera is the D800, favourite lens the Nikon 24-70 2.8 and I presently struggle to learn LR5 after some years with Capture NX2, an old dog and new tricks comes to mind.
Looking forward to reading all those posts and picking brains.

RIP :(
I started out in a blacked out bathroom before building onto my house to add a real darkroom. That was many years ago. You shoiuld fit in pretty good here. Lots of us old timers still hanging around learning the new ways.
